After developing mainframe software for more than three decades, I needed a change. I was an adjunct professor, teaching undergraduate business administration at Virginia University of Lynchburg while getting a second master's degree, a Master of Divinity with a GPA of 3.58 (the GPA for my MBA was 3.54). I had to give up teaching because the M.Div. required an internship, and I could not do both. Now, I have a doctorate — Doctor of Worship Studies with a GPA of 3.62 — and teach business...

After developing mainframe software for more than three decades, I needed a change. I was an adjunct professor, teaching undergraduate business administration at Virginia University of Lynchburg while getting a second master's degree, a Master of Divinity with a GPA of 3.58 (the GPA for my MBA was 3.54). I had to give up teaching because the M.Div. required an internship, and I could not do both. Now, I have a doctorate — Doctor of Worship Studies with a GPA of 3.62 — and teach business administration at Ferrum College and tutor undergraduate business administration and economics at Central Virginia Community College.

I have been using the Office Suite since Microsoft first introduced it in the 1980s, I now teach it as a professor and tutor it. In addition, I have run my own businesses using it, and I have run political campaigns with it.

I understand that everybody learns differently, so we take a little time, in the beginning, to see how you learn best. I am sure we can find an approach that works for you and a time that works for both of us.

I have an MBA with a concentration in Information Technology from Virginia Commonwealth University. With that, I spent two years as an Adjunct Professor at Virginia University of Lynchburg, teaching nine of the eleven business courses they offered every semester and a “quick start” economics course in the summer. I now am teaching business administration at Ferrum College and am working on a DBA at the University of West Alabama.

I have used MSAccess in my own business and for political campaigns since Version 1.0 was released in the 1980s.
