Hello, I am Johnathan, a professional educator based in Henrico, Virginia, and founder of Intellect Masters LLC. I specialize in middle school, high school, and introductory college courses in chemistry, physics, writing, earth science/geology, and mathematics, helping students build strong foundations and achieve mastery. With over eight years of experience and 2,000+ top-tier ratings, my mission is to make learning engaging and tailored to each student’s needs. I hold a Master’s in Geochemistry (3.95 GPA) and a Bachelor’s in Earth Science with minors in Chemistry and Political Science, plus a 120-hour TEFL certificate. I founded my university's Earth Science Honors Society chapter, creating study tools and kits for complex courses and exams.

I tutor general chemistry, introductory earth science, writing, physics, and mathematics, focusing on high school and introductory college STEM courses. I do not tutor structural geology or other upper-level college geology classes, except possibly geochemistry or environmental geology. Upper-level chemistry courses (organic, physical) are not currently offered. This focus ensures confident, high-quality support. I help students of all backgrounds, including those with ADHD and other learning differences. Consistent effort paired with personalized, encouraging instruction is key to improving grades.

While I lead many sessions, vetted tutors from my team may conduct lessons if I’m unavailable. All bookings and communications are managed through my Wyzant account for convenience and compliance with Wyzant policies. For cancellations, 24-hour notice is required. Late cancellations or no-shows incur a fee equal to the greater of the scheduled lesson cost or one hour of tutoring. I strictly follow Wyzant’s Terms of Service. Lessons canceled due to TOS-violating requests incur the same fee. I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals!
