After attending high school in Florida, I accepted Tulane University’s Scholars and Fellows program. After becoming a twice published author, I graduated with a degree in Biochemistry, while also earning my secondary school teacher’s license.
Since 1968, I taught uninterruptedly Speech, Debate, GED, Biology, Chemistry and Algebra. Additionally, in New Orleans, I taught business marketing and insurance courses at Delgado College. At the ages of 52 and 58, I went back to college and earned my Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in Mathematics from Madison University.
I teach to the student's level and comprehension. That is my most important skill. The student does NOT memorize in my sessions; rather, they learn to think and see mathematical concepts, so they can quickly progress on their own.
Teaching has always been and will remain my chosen vocation.
