"Miss Alyssa" has been tutoring my second grader for about 3 months in reading and reading comprehension. I'm always impressed with how patient she is and that she uses her resources outside the time she's tutoring to help my daughter make progress. I can tell she is as interested in my daughter's success as we are. Alyssa is also flexible which, as a busy family, helps our schedule tremendously. My daughter enjoys her sessions and has gained confidence in her studies. She also benefits from the tips and techniques that Alyssa teaches her, to help her break words up and figure them out while she's reading. We look forward to working with her even more this year!
