Born and raised in the United States, I am a passionate accent coach with a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate and many years of experience teaching both in the U.S. and abroad. Since 2018, I have taught ESL and American pronunciation to children and adults from around the world. In addition to my teaching career, I am also a visual artist and athlete, and I enjoy using visual tools to connect with my students and help them reach their goals. I truly believe that the same tools can be applied to any muscle-memory–based skill—whether learning an instrument or refining pronunciation habits, and I'm excited to show you how the same muscle-memory we use to learn to ride a bike can be applied to speaking in another language.

Also, having lived in several other countries, I understand firsthand the highs and lows of trying to communicate with people from vastly different backgrounds, as well as how both language and imagery can form strong cultural identities. In addition to pronunciation and accent coaching, I am also very experienced in, and happy to help with, idiomatic expressions, vocabulary, and rhythm and intonation in speaking styles in order to help you gain the confidence and know-how you need to reach your English goals.
