I have a strong educational and professional foundation that supports my ability to tutor effectively across a range of academic subjects. I hold an Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Technology, a Python Programming Certificate, and a Scrum Master Certification. I’ve also completed several Coursera certifications in data analytics, training that sharpens my ability to teach technical and problem-solving concepts in accessible, relatable ways.

Currently, I work as a Math Interventionist with Richmond Public Schools, where I support students in mastering key math concepts. I specialize in working with students in Algebra 1 and 2, particularly at the 6th and 7th grade levels, helping them build foundational skills in equations, expressions, and problem-solving strategies. My experience includes both small-group and one-on-one instruction, using interactive methods and real-world examples to promote clarity and confidence. In the past, I’ve also tutored middle school students in the town I grew up in, and also was Reading Interventionist for Early Elementary School students

My approach is highly student-centered, blending structure, patience, and encouragement. I adapt my teaching to fit the learner's pace and style while reinforcing core concepts through repetition and guided practice. Whether I’m helping a student overcome math anxiety or guiding them to master advanced topics, my goal is to create a supportive environment that fosters both academic growth and self-belief. I find great satisfaction in watching student's progress from confusion to confidence.
