Jill tutors online only. To make sure that working online with Jill is what works for you, Jill offers a free 20-minute trial session.

Jill has run her own tutoring service for 20 years, working with students from 11 to 60 years old (but mostly teenagers), at levels ranging from sixth grade through high school and early college, with a specialty in Algebra II, Precalculus, and AP Calculus, and also including Prealgebra, Algebra I, Geometry, and SAT prep.

For fourteen years Jill also worked part time at Northern Virginia Community College, Loudoun Campus, tutoring students in NOVA’s math lab and, some of that time, teaching math as an adjunct professor. Many students have expressed their appreciation for her work with them, and in her most recent performance evaluations, Jill was rated “extraordinary contributor.”

Jill has a master’s degree from Columbia University in civil engineering. Applying math to learn engineering really made the math stick.

Jill is available on weekdays (morning, afternoon, and evening) and Sundays. Please reach out to Jill to find out more and schedule a lesson.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor

Jill is amazing! I’m currently working full time and recently decided to go back to school for pursue an engineering degree. It’s been awhile since my last math class, and Jill has been a tremendous help. She is very patient and makes sure you really understand the concept or problem before proceeding.
