My name is Kait and I have a comprehensive background in many different topics! As a self-described lifetime learner, I have studied formally or picked up on many skills and areas of study!
My studies took place at Virginia Tech, where I attained bachelor's degrees in physics and Russian. At the same time, I also picked up minors in astronomy and leadership. During this time I often tutored friends in mathematics, physics, and other miscellaneous courses.

My name is Kait and I have a comprehensive background in many different topics! As a self-described lifetime learner, I have studied formally or picked up on many skills and areas of study!
My studies took place at Virginia Tech, where I attained bachelor's degrees in physics and Russian. At the same time, I also picked up minors in astronomy and leadership. During this time I often tutored friends in mathematics, physics, and other miscellaneous courses.
In graduate school, I attained a Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, where I learned best practices for teaching and started teaching in my graduate assistantship as well as at my school placement.
Once I graduated, I taught at a public high school for over three years - even over the pandemic virtually! Subjects included physics, AP Physics 1, and Intro to Engineering.
After switching to the software industry, I instructed students on how to build applications using Appian and now have much subject expertise in the industry, particularly in digital marketing and teaching adults technical skills.
