I grew up in Virginia and graduated High School in 1988, where I played football and basketball, ran track and sang in the chorus. I love sports, music and food as well as the pursuit of wisdom and knowledge. I graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1992, where I lettered in Lightweight Football, majored in Ocean Engineering and sang in the Naval Academy Glee Club. After graduating, I served a 20-year military career in both the Navy and the Air Force as a Weapons Systems Officer (WSO), flying in the Navy’s F-14 Tomcat and the Air Force’s F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet aircraft. In the military, I have had the opportunity to travel all over the world. I finished my career as a military flight instructor in Pensacola, FL, where I discovered my passion for teaching and helping people succeed in life. I now teach full-time and coach swimming at my hometown high school. I am married with four children ages 20, 18, 17 and 16. I promise to pass on lessons from my life experiences and present you with a great opportunity to gain knowledge and develop tools enabling your future success.

I understand and love math! I can explain and demonstrate math, methodically, in easy to understand terms. I am certified to teach secondary math in Virginia.

I love Physics! It is my favorite! I have been teaching Advanced Placement (AP) and regular Physics at my high school for the past 7 years. My engineering degree requires a solid thorough understanding of physics. Lastly, during my military aviation career, I was living physics on a daily basis (but, we all do actually, we just often don't think about it). I am certified to teach Physics in Virginia.

I love and understand the importance of personal finance. I am also certified to teach Personal Finance in Virginia. I have an M.B.A. as well as life experience in long term and real estate investing.
