As a third-year medical student on my very first inpatient clinical rotation, I’ve been feeling incredibly overwhelmed and stressed, especially when it comes to presentations. Jerry patiently took the time to work with me one-on-one, helping me practice and refine my presentation style in a way that made me feel more confident and at ease. He shared a great framework to help presentations flow more smoothly, along with practical tips on how to impress attendings. Run and stop thinking about it, and take him. He explained everything better than my nursing professor. He made me feel confident in what I was learning by active recall with questions and reteaching all the lectures that would be on the final. I selected him because I feared I wouldn't make it the following semester. I have a disability, and I feel like he made me understand better with visual and audio learning while also making me relate things I already know in life and past education. This is my first semester in nursing.

Jerry teaches me Advanced Physiology! For anyone wondering, this is NURS-G908: Advanced Physiology at Loyola University New Orleans. I am a 2nd Semester student in their DNP Nurse Anesthesia (CRNA) program! Without Jerry's guidance through all this stuff I would have failed out of this subject in the first 8 weeks! He takes his time, always hits the key concepts and knows the material like the back of his hand! I have already recommended him to other class mates and even to our faculty to recommend him to future students entering our program! Can't say enough great things about him!

Many provider-tutors on here do not have the teaching skills, but he's clearly very experienced and gives great tips from what worked for him in Med School including ones I've never tried and think will be helpful! Also, this man has serious dedication. It turned to after dark during our session and he was so committed he was teaching/tutoring in the dark! Glad to have found him!
