Great Hindi tutor

I had experience learning Hindi from a book and am learning now how to speak it, listen, and form my own sentences. Isha was supportive about using the devanagari script -- the transliterations are ambiguous and a bit confusing for me. Isha was patient, supportive, and receptive for what I was looking for throughout our lesson.

Great lessons
I always have very good lessons with Isha. I self studied for a while before seeking tutoring but I had no idea if what I was doing was right and I also never practiced speaking. Working with her has finally got me making sentences and speaking and she’s always willing to check my work. She’s very patient, I forgot what chuka means for at least 4 lessons in a row before I got the hang of it and she never judged me for it

Isha is very patient with me considering the topic of Hindi poetry and songs, which is quite difficult. She explains the language very well and adds more thorough examples and songs which adds more cultural nuances to the text. Helped me translate lines correctly and corrected some mistakes I would have not seen. Very helpful and all ways suggests other topics to consider. I have learned a lot about Indian culture from her. Also speaks Hindi sometimes to get me used to hearing normal Hindi speech which I really need. Thank you

Friendly and supportive yet challenging tutor
I had been studying Hindi on my own for months without much success. After my first lesson, Isha helped boost my confidence. She is very patient and keeps the lessons at the perfect level of challenge. After 3 lessons, I have grasped more than I have in 6 months. Grateful for her help!

Knowledgeable and Patient Hindi Tutor
The first tutoring session started with some questions being asked to determine the student's level of proficiency. Isha provides new vocabulary (short and easily remembered) and teaches students how to structure sentences. I was able to speak a few simple sentences from the very beginning. The short homework assignments reinforce what was covered during the session. I enjoy the progress I'm making with Isha as my tutor.

Excellent Tutor!
Isha is an amazing tutor. She is patient, friendly and has really helped me with understanding grammar and increasing my vocabulary. I really enjoy our sessions together and feel that I am learning a lot through her method of teaching. She challenges me in my learning while making learning Hindi fun! I started our sessions with out knowing hardly any Hindi. But now she has helped me in my ability to create full sentences and has greatly increased my vocabulary.
