I go beyond just studying dates and events by using primary sources to bring history more alive. The use of primary sources allow the student to see history from the viewpoint and words of those who lived in the time period they are studying. I also use visual aids such as maps, pictures, and digitized newspapers to dive deeper into the topics being studied.
