Hi, I’m Daniil! I am a recent graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology. I received a degree in Electrical Engineering with High Honors and achieved a final GPA of 3.66. I have always been passionate about mathematics, physics and computer programming and continue to learn more about these subjects every day. I learned so much during my time at Stevens, especially about what teaching methods worked for me. My favorite teachers and professors were the ones who could break down a difficult topic and explain it in more understandable ways. From my experience at Stevens, I am confident in my ability to help my students gain mastery of a subject through using teaching methods that make the material more interesting and easy to understand, just like my favorite professors did for me. As an educator I emphasize the fundamentals. When I work with my students, I emphasize breaking down a subject into its constituent parts, and making sure that my students master those concepts, just like my professors at Stevens did for me. At university, I gained valuable experience and comfort guiding college-aged students through difficult material. Likewise, I continue to provide supplemental instruction to my younger brother who is in second grade.
I have a solid understanding of many STEM subjects and took seven different AP courses in high school. These courses set the foundation for the skills I developed in college. My college curriculum further developed these skills while keeping the knowledge fresh in my mind. My areas of expertise include Mathematics up to Multi-variable Calculus, Physics, general Computer Science topics such as Data Structures and Algorithms, as well as specific programming languages such as Java and C++.
