I have taught science with hands-on experiences, interactive notebooks, and mystery science to ensure complete comprehension of skills
I have successfully increased my student's sight words, word features (Spelling), and overall meeting exit standards for reading on grade level. I have also assisted my students with fluency and comprehension and identifying and comprehending specific reading and phonic strategies.
Hampton City Schools standards are based on SOL and ensure students excel, show growth and pass their SOL. It also includes having students pass critical skills assessments. This last school year, I had a ninety-eight passing right in my critical skills assessments.
I love working with students. I love making learning fun and seeing how students grow in their overall academics.
