Hi there,

As a current engineering student, I understand the stress and confusion that subjects like math, science, and programming can bring, as well as how discouraging a bad grade can feel. Through both my own studies and my experience as a tutor, I have worked with a wide range of students. From middle and high school (ages 13–17), to college students (18–25), and even adults returning to education (40+). I have helped students navigate everything from foundational algebra through calculus and chemistry, always with the goal of building confidence alongside understanding.

My academic background includes coursework in calculus, algebra, college chemistry, Python, and Java. In addition to tutoring classmates, siblings, and other students in my community, I have been selected to serve as a tutor in my college’s math lab. However, what truly shapes my tutoring is not just the subjects I’ve taken, but how I approach teaching them. In my experience, most confusion comes from gaps in the foundation, students often try to memorize steps without fully understanding why they work. Because of this, I focus on strengthening core concepts first, helping you understand the “why” behind each step along side repeated practice.

My tutoring style is structured and interactive. I start by identifying areas confusions, then work step-by-step to build a clear understanding of the material. From there, I use active recall, repetition, and targeted practice to help you recognize patterns and apply what you’ve learned with confidence. Whether you need help preparing for an exam, completing assignments, or strengthening your overall understanding, my goal is to help you move from feeling stuck to feeling capable and independent in your work.
