Philosophy: An outstanding teacher models the Golden Rule, and embraces the school's values and mission. He helps students develop and improve their abilities and skills to the fullest; conveys enthusiasm, understanding and an appreciation for the subject. Classes are well organized with continual checks for understanding and appropriate adjustments. He is a good listener, creative in questioning skills and praises student positive performances. He cultivates an atmosphere of mutual good will with students, is sensitive to their legitimate needs and eager to be helpful. Decisions are based on what is right, not what is politically expedient. He knows his stuff

He taught me physical science. This tutor was patient. The eat he explained the material was easy to comprehend. I will continue to use him for the remaining of my class.

Outstanding tutor!

Thomas met with our son twice (and on very short notice) to help him study for an upcoming midterm exam. He is an extremely professional, competent and thorough teacher and really helped our son understand some very difficult concepts and problems. We hope very much that Thomas will continue to work with our son in the future.

Very patient and clear!

Thomas was very helpful to my daughter. She was quite anxious and is much calmer now about her understanding of the material. He was also very easy to schedule with.

Extremely dedicated physics tutor

I highly recommend Thomas. He has been tutoring our high school junior in physics for the past several months. Tom asks that our child send him the questions/topics in advance of the session so that he can be better prepared. Our child says that the sessions are very helpful and that it is enjoyable working with Tom. He often stays on beyond the scheduled time without additional charges to make sure the material is understood.

Knowledgeable and enthusiastic

Thomas was able to start right in on the topic in chemistry and asked Justin helpful questions to determine his understanding. Thank you!

Terrific Tutor

Mr. L is very positive and encouraging. He takes the time to explain concepts if my daughter doesn't grasp the terminology initially. Very productive session.
