Hi, I'm Yang, a student at Cornell University majoring in Biology. Over the past few years, I’ve helped students with one question in mind: How can I support you in telling your story?

Hi, I'm Yang, a student at Cornell University majoring in Biology. Over the past few years, I’ve helped students with one question in mind: How can I support you in telling your story?
Because truthfully, college admissions boil down to telling your story in the most effective manner possible. A strong application is not just about having the most impressive accomplishment; it is about understanding yourself deeply enough to explain what your experiences reveal about you. That is where I can help.
Many students have meaningful stories, but they do not always know which moments are worth writing about or how to turn those moments into a narrative. My goal is to help students dig deeper, recognize what makes their story unique, and shape their ideas in a way that feels personal and truly representative of who they are.
Beyond college counseling, I also help students strengthen another important aspect of their application: the SAT. After earning a 1550 (760 Math, 790 EBRW) on the SAT, I was able to develop test-taking strategies focused on approaching difficult questions, managing time, and avoiding common traps. Every student learns differently, and I can help them identify patterns in their mistakes and build strategies tailored to their individual strengths and weaknesses.
I’d love to work with you to achieve your goals, whether it be crafting a compelling college essay or improving your SAT score. My goal is simple: to make sure your application stands out. Feel free to reach out!
