I recently graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, where I completed rigorous coursework in mathematics, biology, chemistry, and physics. In college, I worked as a teaching assistant for Quantitative Physiology I & II and freelance tutor for biology, chemistry, K-12 mathematics, and ACT prep.

My tutoring philosophy is rooted in empathy and patience. I know from personal experience that math and science can feel overwhelming when concepts start to build on one another quickly. When I work with students, I focus on breaking problems down step-by-step, identifying where confusion starts, and creating a comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions. My main priority is to grow confidence by helping students achieve a deeper understanding of the underlying concepts.
I also scored a 34 on the ACT, with strong performance in math and english sections, and I am comfortable helping students build both conceptual understanding and test-taking strategies.
As an incoming medical student, I am excited to continue working with STEM subjects and helping students develop confidence in areas such as algebra, biology, chemistry, and related coursework. Please do not hesitate to reach out :))
