To do this, I often create lesson guides students can follow, use fun mnemonics. I also make sure I adapt to each student, meeting them where they are and building their success from that starting point.
I've been tutoring for a decade, working with students from elementary school through graduate school programs. I have tutored in either small groups of 4-10 students or one-to-one. I have 4 years of experience tutoring K-12 students. I build strong foundations in math, science, and reading by breaking concepts into simple steps and creating activities that make learning interactive. I also help them develop study habits and the confidence to tackle new material on their own. At the bachelor level, I have tutored students for 3 years and helped them master courses like biology, chemistry, calculus, and statistics. I guide them through problem-solving techniques and applying theory to practical scenarios, while also supporting organization and exam preparation. For graduate students, I have 3 years of tutoring experience focusing on preparatory readiness for graduate exams such as the MCAT or LSAT, guiding literature reviews, refining research proposals, and teaching data analysis tools.
