Engaging and Focused on Learning
Kayla is currently helping our teenage son for a second math class, and we couldn't be happier. Her teaching experience across several math classes gives her the exact expertise she needs to understand the curriculum requirements. Kayla takes the time to review the notes and homework that our son receives from his teacher, provides her own additional materials, and focuses on those areas where his understanding is the weakest. She does this in a way that is engaging, understandable to the teenage mind, and fun; it's a genuine pleasure to watch our son's math confidence grow. Kayla tutors both my girls and she knows her stuff. The kids just mention what hye are working on in school and she dives right in. She shows them the correct way to solve problems and helps identify areas of weakness and works on improving it while staying on task so the girls don’t fall behind. She is so patient and most importantly, the girls really like her. You can also tell that she is a kind person and willing to go above and beyond to help the girls. We appreciate Kayla very much!!

Passionate and Motivating Tutor
We are so grateful to have found Kayla for our 9th grader son, who had been struggling in Algebra II all year. He was nearing the end of the year and finding the material quite challenging because he had fallen behind, and we reached out to Kayla to help him learn and review. Kayla was very extremely knowledgeable about the content, and she took the time to assess the material that our son's teacher was providing in order to better tailor her lessons. She created review sheets for him and identified his weak spots in order to provide him with more practice. Kayla was able to explain the concepts in a way that he could understand, and provided special tips for how to solve problems. Over time, we saw our son's confidence in his own abilities to do the math grow. It was amazing! On the final exam, our son ended up receiving the best grade on a test he had gotten all year. Our only regret is not finding Kayla sooner, and we would highly recommend her without any reservations!
