I hold an M.A. in English from Grand Canyon University, where I gained advanced expertise in literary analysis, academic writing, and interdisciplinary approaches to English studies. My academic journey also includes a non-degree program in English Language Arts Curriculum at the University of Phoenix, which provided me with specialized training in effective pedagogy, lesson planning, and assessment strategies. My B.A. in English from Liberty University laid a solid foundation in English language and literature, honing my critical thinking and communication skills. I have been teaching English Language Arts at Bedford County Public Schools since November 2021, where I work with middle school students, including English language learners and students with disabilities. My teaching methods are grounded in inclusivity, differentiated instruction, and the integration of social-emotional learning. I have developed and implemented curriculum that encourages inquiry-based learning, helping students to engage deeply with the material. Additionally, I utilize technology to create interactive and enriching learning experiences.
