I currently am certified to teach Earth Science in Virginia. In addition, I teach collaborative Earth Science and self contain Earth Science at Louisa County HS.
History has been a passion of mine since grade school. In college, I majored in history and really enjoyed writing and reading history. I currently teach World History, but am infatuated with European and American history. I recently started studying the different empires in Africa and constantly learn something new.
In addition to teaching Earth Science and World History, I manage an 18-person caseload which consist of a multitude of disabilities and personalities. In education, one cannot teach using a one-size-fit-all mentality; one has to be flexibility and willing to adapt the curriculum to meet the student needs.
I currently coach football and wrestling at the varsity level. In high school, I was acknowledged state wide for my accomplishments in both wrestling and football. Following high school, I received a football scholarship to play football at Concord University.
