I’m a patient, encouraging tutor who works with students from kindergarten through high school. My background in communication, research, writing, and working with children has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, build confidence, and adapt lessons to each student’s needs and learning style.
I tutor French at all levels, from beginners learning basic vocabulary and pronunciation to advanced students strengthening grammar, conversation, reading, and writing. I can help students keep up with classwork, prepare for quizzes and tests, complete assignments, and become more confident using French independently.
I also tutor English, vocabulary, literature, elementary math, and related subjects. In English and literature, I support reading comprehension, grammar, essay writing, vocabulary development, literary analysis, and organization. In elementary math, I help students build strong foundations through clear explanations, guided practice, and problem-solving strategies that make concepts feel manageable.
My approach is supportive, structured, and individualized. I start by understanding what a student already knows, where they are getting stuck, and what goals they want to achieve. Then, we work through the material step by step, using examples and practice to make learning feel less overwhelming.
I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not only to help students succeed on a particular assignment or test, but also to help them develop confidence, stronger study habits, and skills they can use independently in the classroom.
