Hi! My name is Ms. Chandler, and I’m a licensed elementary educator with over six years of classroom experience and three years of tutoring experience. I currently teach second grade and previously taught sixth grade, giving me a strong understanding of student development from early literacy through upper elementary academics.

I hold a Reading Specialist certification for grades PK–6 and have completed specialized training in Orton-Gillingham, UFLI (University of Florida Literacy Institute), and Advantage Math Recovery Levels 1 and 2. These evidence-based programs allow me to deliver targeted support in reading and math to meet each child’s unique learning needs.

Over the past three years, I have tutored elementary students in grades K–6 in both one-on-one and small group settings. My approach is hands-on, structured, and personalized. I believe in building strong foundational skills while fostering a love of learning and boosting each student’s confidence. I have experience working with diverse learners, including students receiving special education and ESOL services, and I adjust my instruction to support their individual goals.
