Hello, I'm Craig. I graduate cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. I also have a Master's Degree in Agricultural and Life Sciences from Virginia Tech University. I have strived to utilized this teaching strategy, throughout my education career. I find it imperative, as an educator, to present the content and subject matter in an engaging, creative, and experiential way to elicit the best from students. In my tutoring approach, I try to create a positive learning environment that provides opportunities for the students to ask questions, practice the lessons, and content growth.
I have around 10 years of education experience, both in formal and non-formal learning environments. I have experience teaching in a variety of science topics from life science and biology to geology and physical properties. I have taken to heart my previous teachers and professors who spent their own time tutoring and providing me with additional instruction as I needed. I have incorporated that experience into my own teaching philosophy and approach. It is important to me to provide that same level of opportunities to those students that need additional tutoring help.
