Hello! I am a recent graduate from the University of Virginia, where I received a B.A. in Neuroscience. Previously, I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, where I founded a tutoring center for high schoolers in Biology. Since then, I have continued one-on-one tutoring in math and science.

I scored a 525 (130/131/132/132) on the MCAT in January 2022. I self-studied for 3 months, improving my score from a much lower diagnostic score, all while being a full-time student and working a part-time job.

Genuinely, my first month studying was difficult–I didn't understand what strategies the MCAT required or how to best study certain difficult topics--like CARS or biochemistry. However, as I began to develop certain test taking strategies and subsequently learned how to specifically tackle each section, my score, and learning, steeply improved. After that, I scored a 524.5 average on the four AAMC practice full length exams, ultimately to score a 525 on the real exam.

Now, I am excited about bringing my tutoring methodology to help students with the MCAT. From my own experience, and my years of tutoring–I have found that a personalized approach to the MCAT is necessary.
