Math and Science Tutor for K-12 & college students

Hi, I'm Bhanu! I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Biology Major, and I was recently accepted into medical school. I graduated from TJHSST, a top 5 magnet school, and in my high school years, I understood the struggle many students faced with standardized testing and the journey to getting a good GPA. I began tutoring in 2018 to help people avoid the pitfalls that can come with preparing for these tests. I first worked as a math tutor in Mathnasium, before working with another tutoring platform, and now I am currently volunteering with Upchieve. No matter where I've tutored, the joy of seeing students understand a difficult concept is probably what I love the most about tutoring, and that is what will continue to motivate me to tutor in the future.

I scored a 1580 on the SAT, with a 35/36 on the ACT. I also scored in the 99th percentile for the critical reading section on the MCAT. While I was working as a tutor with Mathnasium I had plenty of experience teaching elementary school students, and while working with Upchieve I'm expected to teach K-12 students math. I know for certain that I am well versed in these subjects and I am confident I could teach them to anyone.
