I have taught a variety of classes from 6th grade English Language Arts to 12th grade Advanced Placement English Literature and Composition. I have tutored a number of students in preparation for their SAT and AP English exams as well as college students preparing for the GMAT exam.
Additionally, I have been a middle school principal, a high school assistant principal and a dean of students. In these administrative positions, I have led, successfully, a number of programs designed to enhance student success. The majority of my teaching and administrative experience has been with secondary students from diverse backgrounds. I believe that all students can learn if given the proper instruction and the time necessary to practice and absorb the skill being taught. I enjoy helping students succeed and realize their potential.
