Previously, in my position as Consultant/Chair, Technology Labs Department with Tulsa Public Schools, I taught courses in Energy, Robotics, and Advanced Robotics. We formed a robotics club and participated in the NASA/FIRST robotics competition (Lone Star Regionals in Houston, TX). My students (many of whom had never gone beyond the limits of North Tulsa), partnered with a team from Ecuador. To say that they enjoyed the experience would be an understatement. As a rookie team, we finished 18th out of 54 teams. Many of the team members went on to college.
Additionally, I have taught Biology on the high school level, and, as a university department chair and professor, I taught Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Cybersecurity (policy).
