Hi, my name is Muhammad, I'm a DevOps Engineer with over 8 years of experience working in the field. I help people learn Linux, cloud technologies like AWS, automation and scripting skills through hands-on labs specifically crafted for the student's needs.

I love teaching people, I believe that sharing knowledge and wisdom is one of the most fulfilling things a person can do on this earth. My approach towards students is patient, empathetic and encouraging.

I hold certifications in AWS, Linux, and Cybersecurity and my education was in Information technology with a concentration in cloud computing. My goal in tutoring students is to help them feel job ready, ace an upcoming exam for a college class or certification, and give students the tools to feel confident in figuring things out when something breaks.

In our lessons we will learn Linux; users/groups, bash scripting, grep/awk/sed and regex, automation and managing multiple servers from one computer, ssh, setting up vs code to access the linux filesystem for deeper work, and much more depending on what aspect of linux a student wants to dive into.

I also offer lessons for aws; setting up your account, working with EC2, security groups, S3, EBS, IAM, AMIs and creating golden images, DynamoDB, Route53, and IaC with terraform / ansible / cloud formation.

I charge a simple hourly rate. If you're seeking to learn a simple thing or solve a problem, you may only need one or two sessions. Otherwise, In the first session, we will discuss your goals and begin tackling them by creating a roadmap for your journey. Each session afterwards will follow a structured approach to make sure you get the most for your time and that you have tangible metrics to track for your success.
