I am currently pursuing my education with a strong focus on becoming a teacher, which has given me both the academic foundation and real-world experience needed to support students in their learning. Through my coursework and training, I have developed skills in lesson planning, communication, and adapting material to meet different learning styles. I also work at Brightside Early Learning Center, where I gain hands-on experience working with children in an educational setting. This role has strengthened my patience, creativity, and ability to explain concepts in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.

My experience includes working with young learners in both group and one-on-one settings, helping them build foundational skills in reading, writing, and basic math. I have been working with children for an extended period of time, and during that time I have learned how important it is to create a supportive and encouraging environment. I focus on breaking down concepts into manageable steps, using repetition when needed, and incorporating interactive activities to keep students motivated. I also make an effort to understand each student’s individual strengths and challenges so I can tailor my approach to best support their success.

As a tutor, my goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to build their confidence and independence. I believe every student is capable of learning with the right guidance and encouragement. I strive to create a positive and comfortable space where students feel safe asking questions and making mistakes, because that is where real growth happens. My combination of education, hands-on experience, and passion for teaching allows me to connect with students and help them reach their full potential.
