Hello! My name is Carlin, and I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. My lifelong passion for science has always gravitated toward the complexities of chemistry, which I see as the central science connecting various scientific disciplines and mathematics.

I believe strongly in the value of tutoring alongside classroom learning. Tutoring not only reinforces essential concepts but also fosters a deeper understanding of challenging topics. I have been tutoring informally since middle school and began formal tutoring in high school, continuing throughout my college years. With over six years of tutoring experience, I specialize in chemistry and algebra. My academic journey has been marked by consistent success, earning me spots on the President’s List and Dean’s List, as well as graduating with Cum Laude Latin Honors.

In addition to my expertise in chemistry and algebra, I have a keen interest in perfecting study habits for standardized testing. I scored a 34 out of 36 on the ACT, and I’m excited to share effective strategies to help you excel in your own testing endeavors.
