I know very well how to prepare and handle the most challenging exams since I passed both the CFA exams with 10A (within the top 10th percentile score of all candidates) and CPA exams (averagely high scores, above 92) in one go. Although there is no short cut to the success, I have my own technique to analyze and resolve the complicated questions, which is proven useful and successful in passing these challenging exams and tutoring my students. The content of CFA exam (especially level one) is very broad and is very hard to memorize, not to mention digesting the content and developing the deep understanding of the complicated concepts within a limited time frame. My unique technique equips my students with skills and test-taking strategies that lead them to the passing score. I will lead my students step by step to understand the concepts in depth, pass the exam, and get well prepared for the real world practice. Since I have solid accounting /finance education background and passed CPA exams with very high score, I demonstrate a deep understanding of financial statement analysis, equities, and Portfolio management, which makes it possible for me to incorporate the related CPA concepts and perspective into the CFA tutoring lessons. By this way I am able to bring my students more benefits than other tutors by showing my students how all the moving parts of the exam work together in harmony. I'm a very responsible tutor. I know how stressful my students are in these exam journeys because I experienced all these by myself. I work with my students not only as an exam tutor, but more likely as a companion. Weila has had a huge impact on my CPA Exam journey. Prior to connecting with her, I had tried and failed sections of the CPA Exam 7 times. I had so many tutors before, but Weila is an outstanding tutor. She is very knowledgeable and smart. She is really good at pointing out key words of a super long paragraph for a FAR question and telling me the exam testing point directly. The way she teaches feels like if I want to buy a small bag of pistachio in a huge supermarket, and she can point out which aisle and which shelf directly. She is able to provide great exam tips, and telling me her thinking process and how she would start to solve the problem. Also, she is really good at explaining complex accounting problems in mandarin with different kinds of metaphors to let students visualize the question. Her Mandarin level is as high as her accounting knowledge level. I highly recommend her to CPA exam takers whose first language is Mandarin and second language is English, and you will improve both accounting and Chinese at the same time!
