Throughout my education and professional experience, I have frequently helped classmates and peers understand challenging concepts by walking through problems step by step and explaining the reasoning behind each step. I have found that many students struggle with algebra, not because the material is impossible, but because they need someone to slow down the process and help them understand how each part of the equation works. My goal when tutoring is to make math feel more approachable and less intimidating.
I especially enjoy working with middle school and early high school students who are learning Algebra I for the first time or who need extra support with homework and test preparation. I focus on helping students build a strong foundation in topics such as solving equations, working with variables, and understanding how algebra applies to real problems. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their math skills.
