Bio

My love of teaching springs from a lifelong love of learning. I studied Spanish from the age of 5, and lived in Chile as a high school exchange student in order to immerse myself in the language learning experience. I returned to Chile after obtaining my TEFL certificate to teach English to both professionals and high school students. In addition, I thoroughly enjoyed my undergraduate years at the College of William and Mary as well as my MBA studies at Simmons College here in Boston. ...

Currently, I specialize in tutoring English as a Foreign Language (EFL)/English as a Second Language (ESL), as well as aiding in preparation for the TOEFL standardized test.

I earned my MBA in order to help businesses flourish in an ethical, sustainable way. I am happy to teach the basics of business to others, particularly native speakers of languages other than English. Also, Business English is an area I enjoy teaching. In general, I like helping others achieve success!

Excellent!

She helped me enhance my improvising techniques for the speaking section in Toefl. She patiently and meticulously corrected my wrong pronunciation and accents, and gave me valuable tips on how to build up sentence structures which were really useful in a real exam. Overall, I think she's the best among tutors whom I've ever met.
