Founder of the Institute for the Performing Arts, I have more than 30 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, education, entertainment, and stage production with Nickelodeon Live, Disney, Sesame Street Live, Cedar Fair Entertainment, Six Flags, ABC/MTV/CBS and hundreds of stage shows. My vast knowledge of the Education, Film & Theatre Industries has given the creation of my Arts Institute valuable resources and extensive insight and expertise. With many Broadcasting, Entertainment, Humanitarian, and Charity Awards for my work and volunteering, including the national Crystal Award for my audio production & creativity, I'm a member of the National Association for Music Education, a certified Audiovisual Engineer from the Dept of Defense, and a Certified Broadcasting Educator from the Broadcaster's Mentoring Group and the Virginia Association of Broadcasters.
I've spent most of my adult life being a Producer, Entertainer, FX Artist & Audiovisual Engineer that served not only the corporate world but also in a variety of industries including Broadway Theater, national entertainment companies, the United Nation's Audiovisual Dept., radio and television companies and also the military and defense sectors.
I work with Event & Media Production professionals that offer Professional Services for Live Musical Revues, Concerts, Wedding Receptions, Theatre Productions, Corporate & Private Events, Audiovisual Production & More, all On-Location.
My daily office is a full production studio so every day I live and breathe Audio and Video Production. The bottom line is I love to teach everything that I have experienced and learned. I come from a family of teachers from K-12 and Special Needs educational support. My internal energy comes from the passion I live and breathe every day, inside the world of audio and video production. I can even bring the classroom to you starting in 2023 as I'm almost finished building the nation's very first Mobile Educational Recording and Production Studio.
