I have also worked as an editor for test prep companies, training and heading up a team that included other professional writers and SAT and ACT tutors and refining the testing materials in accordance with official standards. My formal teaching experience includes work as an SAT and ACT tutor (Huntington, Kaplan), college writing instructor (Rutgers University, Thomas Jefferson University, the University of the Arts, the Community College of Philadelphia, Camden County Community College, and Rowan University), and public school teacher (Senior English, AP Language, AP Literature, and dual-credit courses), with state teaching certifications in New Jersey, Oregon, and New York. At Huntington, I also managed their SAT and ACT program.
