Hello! I’m Katrin, and I’d love to help you learn French or German!
I’m a native German speaker and fluent in French and English. I learned French in school and became fluent while living and working in Paris and Brussels. Today, I speak French every day with my French husband. Having learned French as a second language myself, I understand the challenges learners face and how important it is to feel comfortable practicing and making mistakes.
I have 2.5 years of experience teaching French to my two children, adapting lessons to their individual levels and needs. I prepared lessons, monitored their progress in reading, writing, and speaking, and adjusted my approach to help them succeed. Both children went on to join honors and gifted programs in public school.
I also spent 16 years as the founder and CEO of a language services company in Germany, where I trained employees. I hold a Bachelor's degree in International Management and a Master's degree in International Relations.
I believe language learning should be enjoyable, practical, and tailored to each student. I adapt lessons to your goals, level, and interests, combining clear explanations with exercises and real-life examples.

For French, I bring firsthand experience from living in France and Belgium as well as my everyday life with a French husband. For German, I can help you understand the language from a native speaker's perspective, including grammar, pronunciation, and natural expressions.
