I am an incoming M1 at Weill Cornell Medicine with extensive experience in BS/MD and medical school admissions advising. As a high school applicant, I received acceptances to 8 BS/MD programs and had a 100% interview-to-acceptance rate. I later attended the BS/MD program at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where I gained firsthand experience navigating the expectations, preparation, and long-term planning involved in accelerated medical programs.
I also applied to several top medical school programs and received acceptances to multiple top 15 medical schools. Through this process, I developed a strong understanding of what makes an application stand out, from personal statements and activity descriptions to secondary essays, school lists, interview preparation, and overall application strategy. I have also completed dozens of medical school, BS/MD, and scholarship interviews, which has given me extensive experience with traditional interviews, conversational interviews, MMI-style preparation, and high-pressure interview settings.
In addition to admissions advising, I served as a high-level Senior Supplemental Instruction Leader through VCU’s Campus Learning Center for 2.5 years. In this role, I led structured academic support sessions and worked closely with students to strengthen their understanding of challenging course material, build effective study habits, and improve their confidence. I have years of experience working with both high school and college-level students in one-on-one, group, and mentorship settings.
I help students identify their strongest themes, organize their ideas, revise their writing, and practice answering interview questions with confidence. For interview prep, I focus on helping students develop clear, thoughtful responses while still sounding natural and authentic. Whether a student is applying to BS/MD programs, preparing for medical school applications, writing essays, or practicing for interviews, I aim to make the process feel less overwhelming!
