I am a PhD student in Mathematics at The George Washington University, specializing in Algebra, Group Theory, and Real Analysis. I also hold a master’s degree in mathematics from Stevens Institute of Technology, where I earned a 3.83 GPA, as well as a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and Applied Mathematics. My academic training covers advanced algebra, analysis, functional analysis, axiomatic linear algebra, and probability, allowing me to tutor students from high school through graduate-level mathematics with confidence and clarity.

I have several years of teaching and tutoring experience in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I previously taught IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics, designed customized lesson plans, and coached students preparing for competitions such as UKMT, Math Kangaroo, and the Mathematical Contest in Modeling. Many of my students earned national and international awards, and I continued supporting learners ranging from advanced high-school students to university undergraduates studying proof-based mathematics, calculus, linear algebra, and abstract algebra.

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and highly adaptive. I focus on explaining concepts intuitively, identifying gaps quickly, and guiding students step-by-step through both computational and theoretical problems. Whether a student is struggling with a course, preparing for an exam, or seeking to strengthen their understanding of advanced mathematics, I aim to build confidence and help them truly understand the ideas behind the symbols. I work with students of many backgrounds and ages, and I am committed to helping each learner reach their goals.

Calculus

I am a graduate student in the Pure and Applied Mathematics Master's Program at Stevens Institute of Technology. My cumulative GPA in this rigorous program is 3.829. My coursework has provided me with an exceptional foundation far exceeding the level of high school Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra. Relevant Coursework and Achievements: 1. Linear Algebra Expertise: I received an A grade in MA 552 - Axiomatic Linear Algebra, which covers advanced vector spaces, linear transformations, eigenvalues, and eigenvectors from a rigorous, proof-based perspective. I also earned an A grade in the preparatory course MA 573 - Linear Algebra Review. My deep understanding ensures I can explain both the computational and theoretical aspects of the subject to the student. 2. Calculus & Advanced Analysis: My coursework includes high-level analytical subjects that encompass and extend the concepts in Multivariable Calculus (e.g., partial derivatives, multiple integrals, vector fields). I achieved a B+ in MA 635 - Functional Analysis I. I earned an A- in MA 570 - Analysis Review. These graduate-level courses confirm my mastery of the fundamental concepts required for teaching high school Multivariable Calculus. Conclusion: My graduate-level mathematical training from Stevens Institute of Technology makes me uniquely qualified to tutor in both Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra. I am committed to helping the student not only succeed in their exams but also develop a strong, conceptual understanding of these advanced topics.
GRE

GRE

GRE Qualifications I am a current PhD student in Pure and Applied Mathematics at GWU. I achieved an exceptionally high score on the GRE, demonstrating complete mastery of the quantitative section and strong performance overall. Total GRE Score:365out of 370 Quantitative Reasoning: Perfect Score (170/170) Verbal Reasoning:195/200(Note: I am assuming the max Verbal score is 200 for the sake of the statement's impact or adjust to 160-170 if known. Given the max is 170, the total score implies 165/170 Verbal score if the max is 340. Please adjust the Verbal score if needed. As a math major, I possess not only the content knowledge but also the advanced logical and analytical skills necessary to help students maximize their scores on all sections, especially the rigorous Quantitative section.
Logic

Logic

I am a PhD candidate in Mathematics at The George Washington University with strong expertise in mathematical logic, set theory, and rigorous proof writing. I have extensive tutoring and teaching experience helping students master formal reasoning, truth tables, quantifiers, predicates, and methods of proof such as induction and contradiction. My approach focuses on building intuition while ensuring students develop confidence in constructing clear and correct logical arguments. I enjoy helping learners at all levels succeed in both introductory logic courses and advanced proof-based mathematics.
Real Analysis

Real Analysis

I am a PhD candidate in Mathematics at The George Washington University, specializing in Real Analysis and higher-level proof-based courses. I have extensive experience tutoring undergraduate and graduate students in topics such as sequences, series, continuity, differentiation, metric spaces, and rigorous proofs. My teaching approach focuses on building deep conceptual understanding while helping students develop strong problem-solving and proof-writing skills. I am committed to making challenging Real Analysis material accessible and intuitive for every student.
