Hi, I’m Matthew! I earned an Honors B.S. in Engineering Science & Mechanics from Pennsylvania State University with a minor in Computer Science, and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence at Johns Hopkins University. I’m passionate about helping students and professionals build confidence in both STEM subjects and modern AI tools by making complex concepts approachable, practical, and easy to understand.

I specialize in tutoring Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Physics, SAT/ACT preparation, and Artificial Intelligence tools and workflows. I scored a 1500 on the SAT and a 34 on the ACT, so I understand the strategies and study methods needed to succeed in competitive academics. Alongside traditional STEM tutoring, I also teach students, founders, and professionals how to effectively use modern AI systems including n8n, Claude Code, OpenClaw, ChatGPT, and automation tools for productivity, coding assistance, workflow automation, and real-world problem solving. I enjoy helping students learn how to use AI not just theoretically, but as a practical tool that can improve learning, business workflows, and day-to-day efficiency.

What sets me apart is my ability to break down difficult concepts into simple, understandable steps while connecting technical ideas to real-world applications. Whether we’re working through a calculus problem, preparing for standardized tests, learning prompt engineering, or building automation workflows, my goal is always to help students truly understand the “why” behind what they’re learning. I’ve worked with a wide range of learning styles and experience levels, and I strive to create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and results-focused. Whether your goal is improving grades, preparing for exams, strengthening STEM fundamentals, or learning how to leverage AI and automation effectively, I’d love to help you succeed.

Awesome support from Matthew

Matthew W has been providing tutoring services for our son who is in 11th grade for a few months now. They meet weekly and focus on AP Physics and AP Pre-Calc topics. Matthew is very diligent in preparing for the topic of focus for each week and keeping our son engaged during the entire virtual lesson. He has even reached out after a session to follow up on items that weren't covered. Our son has struggled in these courses all year but is finding his confidence thanks to Matthew's support!

Very Helpful

He taught me about the fundamental theorem. He brought up multiple ways how you could solve it but helped me mostly with how the book solved it. He was very good at explaining stuff and making sure that I understood.
