I have experience in teaching English for 23 years and teaching Arabic for 13 years. I taught/tutored students/casual learners from different cultures and countries. I love to be in contact with students/casual learners, teaching them and learning from them at the same time, while also offering them help in achieving their goals of learning Arabic and/or English.

I am a native speaker of Arabic and hold a Ph.D. degree in Arabic language and linguistics. I have also taught elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels of Arabic (Classical/Qur'anic Arabic, Modern Standard Arabic, and Egyptian Arabic), for 12 years.

I am a CELTA-certified teacher. I also hold BA and MA in English, English literature, and linguistics.

My teaching depends on immersing you in enjoyable daily-life situations so that you can easily imitate and, after not too much effort, read, write and speak Arabic/English like a native speaker. Culture cannot be separated from language. So, I also immerse you in the main cultural aspects of Arabic/English-speaking countries in general and offer a brief background to language as reflected in culture. Also, I try to compare Arabic and English (as a language) and the culture represented by it with other languages, including French and German (languages that I am familiar with).

I am CELTA certified and have vast knowledge of English grammar. I have actually taught for about 20 years and think that I will help learners achieve their goals in the shortest time possible. I can help with explanation and practice of coursebook exercises and standardized exams.

I am a certified CELTA trainer and have taught English skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) for 19 years. along with English skills, I prepared loads of students (especially from Arab backgrounds) to pass their IELTS tests and get the scores that secured their admission at US and European universities. I am flexible with times and take care of details.

I taught Linguistics to undergrad students in Egypt for 17 years and England for 2 years. My specialty is sociolinguistics and pragmatics, but I taught and have vast experience in many other branches, including morphology, and historical linguistics. I am quite familiar with methods in linguistic research and also worked with leading companies as a linguistic analysis (Appen, Productive Playhouse, and Lionbridge).

In teaching these skills, vocabulary is a main component that I have always paid much attention. More important than vocabulary is how to manipulate them and use them in different contexts to express different meanings. This can be supported by reading passages on different topics and specialized vocabulary tests. I am flexible with times and take care of details.

Saudi is an excellent all-around teacher

He has a mastery of language and communication in general and of course expertise in Arabic, and is an excellent all-around teacher. He not only teaches vocab/grammar/communication in a patient manner that facilitates learning, but can add nuances/context based on his understanding of language structure and on his skill as a teacher, which helps you learn and stay motivated. I definitely recommend Saudi as a great teacher for learning Arabic and a great person to pass 1-2 hours with also!
