Responsive and resilient tutor!

When I originally reached out to Sabrina I was simply seeking validation from her (as a native French speaker) that I could be understood by French speakers, and therefore demanded only in-person sessions with her. At that time, she was only available for online sessions which I refused due to prior failures with other providers. Several weeks later, Sabrina contacted me when she had availability for in-person sessions. I jumped at the opportunity based on her profile and her stellar reviews, because I needed a shot of confidence in my spoken French before traveling to France for a two-week sojourn. Sabrina and I met just three times before my departure. From the get-go she instilled confidence in my spoken French and inspired me to expand my capacity to converse en francais by appealing to my interests. She definitely focused on my goals and my interests in ways that encouraged me to actually use my accumulated French in real conversation without relying on textbooks and/or impersonal constructs. Subsequently, I traveled to France and discovered that she was right! French people understood me! I made my way en francais with little reliance on English. Sabrina imbued that confidence in me. While I had studied French in isolation for years using books and apps, Sabrina adeptly elicited my reserve conversationally, and in so doing, enabled me to gratify my ability to communicate effectively ... without stressing grammar, construction, etc. I continue to rely on Sabrina for conversation en francais.
