I've been tutoring for over 7 years with Wyzant and various organizations like Mathnasium, Education One and Akari, helping students of all ages K-12 succeed in their academic journey.
I have professional experience in the tech-industry as a software engineer and software testing engineer for the past 6 years working for various distinguished organizations such as Best Buy, Cvent and for the government at the Social Security Administration and FCC.
For my educational background, I have a master’s in computer science from University of Colorado with concentration in Machine Learning and a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and a minor in data analysis from George Mason University. My neuroscience research was specialized in neural structures and in Alzheimer's.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I'm not only a tutor, I'm also a mentor. I go beyond just teaching the subject. I inspire and motivate them to do well and develop their interest in the subject. I want them to succeed. I help students develop the intuition and intuitive knowledge they need to understand the subject so that the subject makes logical sense. To help them reason so that they won't have to memorize as much as being able to understand the broader principles from having a strong foundation of understanding. For Computer Science, I have studied Data Mining, Software Development, Machine Learning and Gen-AI. Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary field in which knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics, biochemistry and organic chemistry is required and I have taken 1 year for each of these.

330 on GRE, 502 on MCAT, 2230 on SAT w/ 720 on Math, perfect 800 on SAT math II subject test
