Hi! My name is Megan and I am a Harvard College grad (Neurobiology) and hold a Master of Public Health from George Washington University. I spent the last nine years working in international development supporting children and families to improve health outcomes in countries across Africa, but have always loved teaching and working with students. I have tutored for SAT and ACT, SAT and ACT subject tests in math and science, AP science and math tests, and high school math and science coursework. I've also developed and taught an after-school STEM enrichment curriculum to underserved middle school students, and taught preparation classes for the New York City Specialized High School Admissions Test.
I enjoy working with all types of students. I've worked with students who are excelling and just need an extra challenge or someone to help provide structure and keep them on track. I've also worked with students who are struggling, and need a little extra help to understand concepts or improve their coursework. I'm happy to tutor on a range of subjects, regardless of our originally assigned topic, if a student happens to have a question on other topics or needs help in additional subjects.
