I am a college student currently studying at Northern Virginia Community College, where I have completed and am continuing coursework in mathematics, biology, and logic/critical thinking. My academic background includes college-level biology covering genetics, cell biology, and human systems, as well as mathematics courses that emphasize problem solving, algebraic reasoning, and analytical thinking. In addition, I have completed formal coursework in logic, where I regularly analyze arguments, construct proofs, and break down complex ideas into clear, understandable steps. These subjects require precision, patience, and clarity, which strongly shape my tutoring style.

I have experience tutoring students in one-on-one and small group settings, both informally and in academic support contexts. I have worked with students of all levels, helping them prepare for exams, complete homework, and strengthen foundational understanding rather than relying on memorization. My approach focuses on identifying where confusion begins, explaining concepts step by step, and adjusting explanations to match each student’s learning style. In math and biology, I emphasize understanding the “why” behind procedures and processes.

I have been teaching and tutoring for multiple semesters, primarily in individualized settings where I can tailor sessions to each student’s pace and goals. I prioritize patience, encouragement, and active engagement, making sure students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of learning.
