I hold a Master’s degree in Statistics and I’m currently pursuing a PhD in the same field. This graduate training has given me a strong foundation in statistical theory, applied modeling, and data-driven problem solving, along with the ability to break complex ideas into clear, intuitive steps. My academic background supports students not only in “getting the right answer,” but in understanding the underlying concepts well enough to apply them confidently across homework, exams, and real-world examples.

I have two years of experience as a Teaching Assistant, supporting students through course instruction, office hours, review sessions, and targeted help on assignments and exam preparation. In addition, I’ve worked as a private one-on-one tutor, where I focus on fully covering material and explaining concepts from multiple angles to target each student's individual learning style. My approach is structured but flexible: I combine concept-first explanations with guided practice, consistent feedback, and strategies for reading problems, setting up solutions, and avoiding common pitfalls. Students I’ve worked with have seen rapid improvement—often gaining a full letter grade (for example, from a C to a B) within about two weeks of focused work.

I’ve taught and tutored learners across a wide range of ages and settings, including high school students, college students, and adult learners. My experience spans classroom teaching, academic support as a TA, and individualized tutoring, allowing me to adapt to different backgrounds, confidence levels, and course expectations. Whether a student needs long-term support to build foundational skills or short-term intensive prep for an upcoming exam, I aim to create a supportive, results-oriented environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and steadily build independence.
