A True Python Subject Matter Expert
I worked with George on a Python project where I needed to implement a variety of methods of a class to analyze text. The text was instantiated via objects that were in the form of parameters identified as a URL, a file denoted by a txt extension, or a string of text. As a student with no previous computing experience, George was very respectful, patient, and understood what I needed to accomplish. He helped me complete a Jupyter Notebook via the Wyzant desktop platform where he showed me how to implement Python methods of a class. He walked me through the coding process where he explained the logic, syntax, instances of a class, and how instances get passed as parameters. Through his instruction, I was able to successfuly complete my project. I learned so much from George. He possesses tremendous technical acumen and is a very accomplished academically. He has a pleasant disposition and was very effective within our allotted time to help me complete the Python activities I needed to submit as part of the project’s requirements.
