I hold a B.S. in Mathematics from George Mason University with a 3.80 GPA and a concentration in mathematical statistics. My coursework included advanced linear algebra, real analysis, abstract algebra, differential equations, nonparametric statistics, and regression and time series analysis. I've tutored math at every level — from middle school through upper-division university courses — for over five years.

I started tutoring privately in 2020, working one-on-one with more than 50 university students across subjects like linear algebra, real analysis, abstract algebra, differential equations, physics, and computer science. I focus on building real conceptual understanding rather than just drilling procedures. My goal in every session is for the student to walk away understanding why something works, not just how to get the answer. I've also taught in classroom settings at Mathnasium and as a math and science tutor at a public middle school, where I worked with 20+ students per session and taught English learners in Spanish.

I'm fluent in both English and Spanish and can tutor comfortably in either language.
