Hello my name is Jessie and I graduated from Bryan College with a degree in Secondary Education with a focus in Mathematics. I do not currently have my own classroom because I am working as the Graduate Assistant for Bryan's Education Department. I am assisting with the completion of compiling data and creating formats in which the data can be presented. I have always loved math and have a gift for helping others find the beauty in it as well.

I have been tutoring for many years in and out of school. I have also played volleyball through high school and college so majority of the students that I tutored were fellow athletes. I have worked with all types of students and would love to work with you as well! Finding a way to explain a problem in a different way than what was originally taught is so exciting. I strive for that light-bulb moment in almost every lesson that I create. Without it I do not feel the student has completely learned the material.

I am a wonderful math tutor because I have many years of experience. From starting with my younger brother at the kitchen table in middle school, to helping others in the math department in college, I have been successfully tutoring for many years. I have a gift for helping people translate mathematical language into normal English. This has proved helpful to all those who refer to it as a foreign language.
